Melvin is a very old turtle. One day he meets the mayfly Pucko. Melvin feels superior to Pucko in every way. The last thing a turtle needs is a puny little insect for a ”friend”. Why on earth should he need a friend at all? Melvin simply has no idea that that is just what is missing in his life.
