Footprints

Many of the ideas expressed in Footprints emerged from a student and staff think tank about environmental issues. Student comments, questions and misconceptions became the foundation for the final product that uses strong visual metaphors to communicate ideas. The film doesn’t try to explain a concept but rather open it up for discussion with a question – “What is a carbon footprint?” – a very difficult concept for children to grasp.
