The twelve-year-old Azza was brought up according to her father’s strict Islamic rules. She went to the Islamic primary school where girls wear long gowns and headscarfs and are taught separately from boys. After summer she will advance to the Amsterdam Lyceum. Surrounded by Dutch classmates, her headscarf will be the exception. Will she remain loyal to her father’s culture.
